**Who we are**:
Jackson Asphalt is the longest running asphalt supply and lay company in Perth. We build and maintain high quality roads, carparks, driveways, hardstands, paths and crossovers.

We have three teams, a paving crew that completes our major projects, a patch crew that carries out minor works and a civil crew preparing base works.

**The role**:
Based in Maddington, we are looking for a reliable and committed Asphalt crew member, whose primary responsibility will be to operate the mobile construction equipment for road surfacing works, as well as general duties involved in asphalt laying. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

**Your daily responsibilities will include**:

- Contribute to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment
- Safe and efficient use of asphalt related mobile plant
- Maintaining company truck and plant equipment
- Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives and,
- Comply with Jackson Asphalt OH&S policy and ensure our Safety and Environmental standards are met

**Do you possess the below skills**:

- A current Heavy/Medium Rigid (HR/MR) or Mobile Equipment National Competency will be highly regarded but not essential
- General Construction Induction Card - White Card
- A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
- Available to work from Monday to Sunday and nights when required
- A proven ability to work within an Asphalt team environment or similar

Pay: $32.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- MR Licence (preferred)
- Manual Driver Licence (preferred)
