This Federal Government client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation committed to ensuring the security and resilience of our nation’s critical infrastructure. As an IRAP / Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing security practices, conducting risk assessments, and enhancing their overall security posture.
- Conduct thorough assessments of midrange and desktop infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
- Evaluate adherence and compliance with GRC frameworks, including PSPF, ISM controls, and ACSC Essential 8.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice on security controls, procedures, and policies.
- Regularly assess and maintain the agency’s security posture up to the protected classification level.
- Create and maintain clear and concise technical security documentation, manuals, and guides.
- Ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy of technical documentation through meticulous version control.
- Select, adopt, and adapt appropriate process definition and management methods to deliver technical and business process documentation.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- NV1 security clearance
