**About Us**

PodBed Hostels are vibrant, community-focused backpacker hostels that provide a clean, safe, and friendly environment for travellers from around the world.
We’re looking for proactive and adaptable **All-Rounders** to join our team at **PodBed Sydney** and **PodBed Coogee**, helping deliver an exceptional guest experience across both **Reception** and **Housekeeping**.

**About the Role**

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day. You’ll be involved in both **front desk duties** and **cleaning tasks**, ensuring our guests have a seamless stay from check-in to check-out.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Reception Duties**:

- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs using our Property Management System (PMS)
- Handle bookings, payments, and basic administrative tasks
- Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team to ensure room readiness

**Housekeeping Duties**:

- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Restock supplies and maintain hygiene standards
- Follow cleaning checklists and safety procedures
- Report maintenance issues or guest feedback to the team
- Friendly, reliable, and guest-focused
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Takes pride in cleanliness and presentation
- Flexible, proactive, and happy to assist in different areas as needed
- Previous hostel, hotel, or customer service experience a plus
- WHV holders welcome — must have valid working rights in Australia

**Shift Details**
- Morning to early afternoon housekeeping shifts
- Afternoon and evening reception shifts (rotating roster)
- Weekend and public holiday availability required
