Talent International are currently recruiting for an Assistant Director level
**Participant Advocate** to work for an Australian Federal Government Client based in
**Richmond or Geelong**. This position is a 12-month contract with the view to be extended and is paying a daily rate of $585 - 600 per day plus superannuation.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The Participant Advocate is an important team leadership position within the Agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.

The position is required to coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support the Agencies Objectives.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Planning and deploying branch activities, communicating and educating key stakeholders on program vision and deliverables
- Developing branch activities and reporting progress and outcomes to the executive
- Attending and co-facilitating engagement meetings, reference groups and other consultations and assisting in documentation and write ups
- Integrating learning and advice from stakeholders into future engagement activities
- Supporting the development of internal and external communication materials
- Liaising with relevant business areas to determine their participant engagement needs and supporting the development of engagement plans
- Escalating reputational risks associated with engagement and communication activities

**Key skills required for this role**:

- Desire to personally engage with key stakeholders, using performance metrics to help them drive business outcomes
- Communication Skills including ability to translate complex documents into plain English
- Expert level excel and reporting skills
- Experience working within continuous Improvement and strategy
- Strong Senior Leadership experience
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the Disability sector highly regarded
- ** Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this position**
