The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.
ResMed's Supply Chain Planning function is embarking on a transformation journey with advanced end-to-end Planning capability systems enabling dynamic collaboration with stakeholders, real time visibility and advanced analytics to optimise supply chain.
The role of Supply Planner function is to be responsible for all production plan operational activities including key deliverables such as planning and managing the day to day planning functions for manufacturing. This includes developing & maintaining master schedule with optimised production schedule for manufacturing lines, maximising efficiencies and customer service levels whilst supporting increased demands, maintaining inventory levels, identifying delivery problems and solutions and working closely with manufacturing partners for production schedule adherence to achieve business requirement.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities:
- The primary objective of Supply Planner within Supply Chain Job Family is to collaborate with other supply chain planning partners and other functions (Demand, GSA, Manufacturing, NPI Project teams for example) to ensure that production plans are achieved in the most efficient way.
- Planning and creation of production supply plan for portfolios of goods based on manufacturing demand requirement and customer orders (make to order)
- To ensure and validate the supply plan in alignment to manufacturing resources and line/tooling capacity, optimise production and minimise costs in resources and inventory
- Maintenance of planning systems parameters (product category, multiples, days of supply, planning routing, KB location setup) to optimise planning outputs and efficiency
- Creation and scheduling of work orders for production to optimise supply plan and production control activities of material flow from warehouse to manufacturing lines
- Ensuring, managing and implementing engineering change notes dates so that Bill of Materials are up to date to plan supply assumptions
- Owning the Supply Review process (SRM) to identify and find ways to mitigate any supply constraints.
- Monitoring and escalating capacity constraints (short and long term) and managing stakeholder/customer expectations in relation to schedule attainment and inventory management.
- Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.
- Serve as supply planning representative in cross functional teams for projects related to plan portfolios and new products introduction
- Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
- Occasionally leads the work of project teams and might formally train junior staff.
- This role will be expected to be on site at least 2-3 days a week.

Required:
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Science or Business discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Materials Planning or Supply Chain
- Strong knowledge and experience of ERP system
- Excellent Microsoft office skills with strong analytical abilities
- Experience in taking ownership and committed to delivering results of noticeable high quality
- Proven experience in leading supplier collaborations
- Strong communication & negotiation skills, multi-tasker and a good team player
Preferred:
- Experience in Medical device, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or EMS industries
