**The Position**

**St John of God**
**Ballarat Hospital** is one of Victoria’s premier regional private hospitals providing an extensive range of health care services. The hospital’s services include maternity, cardiology, oncology, hospital in the home, day surgery, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and emergency care.
- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
- **Cafeteria Supervisor** to join the hospital, ensuring that the highest quality Cafeteria service is provided to patients, customers and caregivers. This role will see you responsible for coordinating and delivering Cafeteria services at SJOG Ballarat hospital and providing leadership and direction for Cafeteria caregivers.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for providing an exceptional coffee and dining experience.
- The position is offering 64 hours per fortnight on a permanent part time basis.

- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to create a collaborative team culture and support and develop caregivers.
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
- An understanding of and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
- Barista skills and experience.
- Sound knowledge of Food safety requirements.
- Cash handling skills.
- The ability to work within a strict budget and to read and understand financial and influence reports.
- Proven ability to provide effective, value based leadership and supervision to all caregivers and volunteers working in the cafe.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage own workflow and effectively prioritise competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
- Management experience.
- Computer skills including knowledge of MS office software.
