Buyer/category Manager

The main function of a Category Manager at HEQS is to deliver sales through sourcing an exciting range and mix of product that makes for compelling viewing, and is in line with the HEQS Channel strategy, the category strategy and customer profile to maximise revenues and ensure budgets are met. The category manager will strategically plan the area to maximise programming, web and catalogue opportunities within budgeted, QA and time requirements.
The Category Manager is responsible for Revenue, GP%, GP$$, Productivity, Inventory and GMROI and the management of the OTB of the nominated category.
The Category Manager works within the Merchandise Team and laisse and interacts with various other internal partners as well as external partners to ensure the success of the category.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:Minimum 5 years proven success in retail buying.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
