We provide professional and efficient ground handling services to leading airlines and supply & maintain innovative ground handling equipment. Our large team throughout Australia and the Pacific are vital to these operations.

Oceania Aviation first commenced ground handling operations in June 1996 and now have over 600+ staff in 23 locations across Australia and the Pacific.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Your role is critical to the safe operations of the aircraft at the airport ensuring bagroom functions, loading and unloading, maneuvering and operating equipment and receipting and dispatching are all executed with precision, safely and compliantly.

**YOUR DUTIES**
- Bagroom functions: scanning and manual handling luggage.
- Loading / unloading baggage & freight.
- Aircraft Receipt & Dispatch.
- Aircraft Pushback.
- Water and waste services.
- Operating Ground Service Equipment on Ramp.

- Shift penalties: If your shift starts between the below times:

- 04:00-07:00 is $24.35 + 15% excl of Superannuation.
- 20:00 - 00:00 is $24.35 + 15% excl of Superannuation.
- 00:00 - 04:00 is $24.35 + 22.5% excl of Superannuation.
- Saturday is time and a half.
- Sunday is double time.
- Uniform paid for.
- Paid training.
- Enrolment into Cert III course.
- Fatigue management.
- Rosters published two weeks in advance.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**

**ESSENTIALS**
- Driver’s License (including Provisional License).
- Pass Drug, Alcohol and Audio tests.
- Capable of obtaining an ASIC card.
- Have limited restrictions and ability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
- Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas.
- Ability to work shifts that may start as early as 03:00.
- Ability to work shifts that may finish as late as 23:00.
- Capacity to be able to work between 20 - 30 hours per week.
- Commit to shift lengths between 4 - 10 hours per day.
- Available for 1-week full-time training.
