The Roly Poly family have been offering our professional “**Privately** **Family Owned”,** Early Learning services since 1993 and still continue to learn and grow with knowledge and dignity. We work closely with our staff and support them throughout all aspects of the service on a daily basis.

We are looking for a PASSIONATE experienced Director/2IC to take on this **AMAZING LEADERSHIP ROLE **in a state of the art centre with a wonderful reputation within the Community. This position is for an energised passionate leader that aims to deliver the highest quality service. While ensuring the requirements are being met, you will have the benefit of working with the Director, to implement your own learning ideas and showcase your skills to make a difference to our staff, children, and our respected families.

Our beautiful heritage building that used to be the “KINGS THEATRE” in the mid 1900's, boasts 6 classrooms each classroom with indoor and outdoor open spaces, providing a fun, loving and nurturing environment. Our centre is in a residential area near Randwick and the beaches We provide shower facilities for our Team who might like to swim before/after work, or at lunchtime.

Our centre is open between 7am-6pm. Our Art Déco theme throughout the building, creates a warm welcoming atmosphere as you walk through all our amazing spaces. We pride ourselves in delivering a professional service that helps the little minds of our future develop and grow into beautiful little human beings with self confidence and pride.

**About the Role**

Work with a team to support children’s learning and development outcomes in all age groups, with the following imperative areas to focus on:

- Working closely with Director, Educational leader and Room leaders;
- As a 2IC, you will be responsible for most of the Administrative necessities of the service eg orders, enrolments, new family tours, certain notifications to families through Storypark etc
- You will be required to be Responsible Person and Acting Director when the Director is away from the service.
- Establish and maintain respectful collaborative partnerships with families to assess and support children’s learning and wellbeing.
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
- Contribute to a professional and positive work culture;
**Skills and Requirements**
- Hold a BACHELOR OR DIPLOMA in Early Childhood, or working towards a Bachelor in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of Regulatory Framework
- Available Full time/5 days a week;
- Must be available to do 2 days 7:00-3:00pm and 3 days 10:00-6:00pm;
- Have experience in CHILDCARE Office Administration work and QIKKIDS (or equivalent) for rolls, accounts, fees etc;VIA EMAIL
- Prefer to have sounds knowledge in using STORYPARK;
- Experience as either Director or 2IC role in a childcare service;
- Good sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS/NQF and Programming essential
- Current Working with Children Check;
- Updated First Aid Cert HLTAID004 & updated CPR preferable;
