Due to sustained growth, this highly regarded division is looking for an experienced Hydrogeologist to complement our supportive Water team in Victoria to assist in the planning and coordination of hydrogeological investigations and reports, aquifer testing, bore condition assessments and the development of conceptual hydrogeological models to name a few.
To be successful in this role it is expected that you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental/Geosciences, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Hydrogeology characterisation, groundwater system conceptualisation and hydrogeochemical interpretation/analysis experience.
- Proven exposure to Hydrogeological investigations, groundwater resource assessments, establishing monitoring bore networks and bore condition assessments.
- Experience in production bore design and construction supervision, in accordance with the Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia.
- Ideally ground modelling experience.
- Ability to prepare factual and interpretative hydrogeological reports.
- A detailed understanding of Victoria’s groundwater legislation and policies, standards and guidelines desirable.
- Excellent communication, responsive project management, and good technical report writing skills.
