About the role
Calvary Adelaide Hospital is seeking a dietitian to fill a 12 month 0.4 FTE contract role that will support growth and demand within the multi-disciplinary allied health team. Casual position also available. The position offers an opportunity to provide support across a range of hospital specialties including general medicine, cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic, general surgery, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation.
**Your main duties will include**:
Managing a diverse caseload using evidence based guidelines to deliver patient centred dietetic services in accordance with professional and ethical standards
Actively participating in a multidisciplinary team, and
Contributing to planning, service development and quality activities as guided by the senior dietitians.
**About you**:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
Eligibility to hold the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) credential
Minimum two years clinical dietetics experience
High standard of clinical and professional practice using evidence based practice
Ability to work well within a team
Excellent organisational and time management skills to effectively manage a clinical caseload
Ability to participate in regular weekend and public holiday service, and
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
