**About the Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity exists within **Metropolitan Youth Health at Christies Beach**for an **Aboriginal Clinical Health Practitioner / or Aboriginal Health Worker, (ASO5)**to join us, working **full-time, ongoing.**
- The Aboriginal Clinical Health Practitioner / Aboriginal Health Worker -_
- Plans and delivers a high standard of specialised clinical health care services to Aboriginal young people and their families, within a youth health and multi-disciplinary context in primary care settings, including assertive outreach to respond to local community needs and responding to social and emotional wellbeing for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young people
- Works alongside a multi-disciplinary team to support and provide guidance to team members relating to culturally appropriate interventions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers
- Contributes to the development of partnerships and collaborative initiatives within community groups, health professionals and organisations in the local area

**Metropolitan Youth Health** provides free clinical health services (primarily for physical health issues) to young people aged 12-25, with a focus on under 18 years, in the Adelaide metropolitan-wide community.
