Architectural Draftsperson

We are currently seeking a full time Architectural Draftsperson with high attention to detail and a love of sustainability and design.

As an Architectural Draftsperson you will be providing assistance to our Design Team across all phases of the design process. You will also be responsible for liaising with our Construction Team to ensure smooth communication and coordination during the drafting process.

**Main tasks**:

- Create accurate and detailed drawings, drafts and designs using AutoCAD software.
- Modify existing designs to incorporate changes and enhancements as requested by clients and approved by Construction Project Manager and Architects.
- Read and interpret plans, site surveys, specifications, and regulations.
- Work closely with our in-house Design, Construction, Estimation and Administration teams to contribute to the overall success of the projects.
- Collaborate with contract architects and engineers to convert design concepts into technical drawings.
- Conduct site visits to address concerns and inquiries during the construction phase.

**Skills and experience required**:

- At least a Diploma of Drafting, Design or related qualification
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as an Architectural Draftsperson, with a focus on CAD
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Windows
- Good attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
