**Who we are**

Accent Home Care is a division of Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged (TTHA) who have been supporting older people for over 50 years. Accent Home Care has a range of services that extend to Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and private services. TTHA is a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) provider with its origins in the Melbourne German Community located in Bayswater and now servicing metropolitan

We are seeking a proactive person to take responsibility for all aspects of the Education, Quality, and compliance function for our Home Care division.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working in collaboration with the management team you will be responsible for providing hands on leadership, guidance, education, and support, including:

- Reviewing and monitoring staff practices against organisational policies and procedures to ensure the consistent provision of a high standard of clinical care and support to all consumers
- Work collaboratively with managers and staff with a focus on facilitating a high standard of consumer satisfaction and achieving best practice outcomes
- Managing and undertaking quality and auditing requirements for the home, using a suite of auditing tools
- Review and develop policy and procedures
- Facilitate quality/education meetings and training
- Deliver the orientation/onboarding program to new Care Advisors and Clinical Staff
- Maintain, update and evaluate the Continuous Improvement Plan.
- Monitor and manage Service Improvement Reports and Incidents to ensure they're actioned, and timeframes are met.
- Monitor and review existing quality processes and systems to ensure compliance
- Monitor feedback and implement service improvement strategies
- Participate in the monthly clinical governance and infection control committee meetings
- Lead a small team of registered nurses

**About you**
- Previous experience of working in residential and home care setting in a management position
- Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
- Well-developed computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office suite i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships and share knowledge and technical expertise with other team members
- Demonstrated ability at managing and reviewing a quality system
- Advanced skills in delivering training and/or an accredited educator
- High level understanding of contemporary approaches to quality management in the health and/or aged care industry
- Skilled at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence rather than direct authority
