**Care and Leisure Support Assistant**

Mayflower Edith Bendall is currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic and caring Care
and Leisure Support Assistant to join our team and work alongside our clinical team to ensure
residents maximise their leisure and lifestyle options to enhance their quality of life.

**About the role**:

- Location -Based at our Pascoe Vale home.
- As a Care and Leisure Support Assistant, you will ensure resident’s individual
- recreation interests are established and facilitated.- Working in a team environment, you will encourage residents to socialize, engage with
- community associations and assist in facilitating visits and attendance at events.- Knowledge and understanding of the diverse needs of older people
- Engaging with residents in a caring manner
- Promotion of recreational opportunities within Mayflower and the broader

community
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A caring, creative and innovative approach to support and encourage residents to
- maximise their lifestyle choices.- Ability to build meaningful partnerships with residents
- The ability to obtain a satisfactory police record check (aged care or vulnerable people
- specific)- Clear NDIS Check or the ability to obtain one.
- Degree in Lifestyle and or Aged Care.
- Drivers License

**Desirable**
- A Certificate 4 in Lifestyle and Leisure equivalent is desired
