Maxima, in partnership with Alwyndor, are on the lookout for caring individuals to undertake an entry level traineeship as a community support worker.

Alwyndor has been providing South Australia with premium home services and state-of-the-art residential living facilities for over 80 years. It is their aim to empower people within the community to live healthy, engaged and fulfilling lives with the backing of their passionate staff.

These opportunities will see you providing in-home support to elderly community members located within the Southern suburbs of Adelaide. Upon successful completion you would have achieved a paid nationally recognised **Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), **and the practical experience to kickstart a successful career within the aged care industry.

**Duties Include**:

- Personal care (showering, toileting, grooming, hygiene.)
- Assist with the movement and transport of clients with mobility devices
- Domestic duties (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- Provide social support to clients
- Assist in the evaluation of the client’s progress and needs
- Communicate the client’s health, well-being, and progress to supervisors

- A positive and nurturing attitude
- Committed to providing exceptional patient care
- The skills to adapt to change, and be flexible with conflicting timelines and workloads
- High standards of presentation and personal hygiene

**Role Requirements**:

- Comply with mandatory vaccinations required by the Government to work within the Aged Care sector including Influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations
- Hold a current drivers’ licence
- Fully registered and insured reliable vehicle
- National Police Clearance and NDIS Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical assessment
