**The Opportunity**

We're looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our QLD Archerfield Warehouse team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring optimal operational performance across all warehouse functions including but not limited to inbound, outbound, picking, packing, inventory, and returns.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Liase with relevant external contacts as required such as Cleaners, Landlord, Building Maintenance, Contractors, Suppliers and Customers.
- Customer interaction including maintaining good working relationships & responding to all enquiries in a timely manner.
- Support & drive inventory control and accuracy across the operation, maintaining stock integrity in warehouse including adhering to BrightSky policies & procedures.
- Ensuring all staff are following safe work practices and work instructions along with a regular review of documents so that all training materials are updated and relevant to current tasks.
- Maintain, measure and evaluate KPI’s, ensuring customer contractual KPI’s are met, eg DIFOT.
- Staff management - Monitoring KPI’s staff performance, staff training, mentoring development, cross training, conducting competency assessments, championing Lean and 6s processes.
- Assist with identifying training needs & opportunities to develop the team and staff performance management - Resolution Management if required.
- Participate and assist in internal or external safety and quality audits.
- Regular toolbox talks with the team to discuss WHS, performance board, KPI’s, targets or adhoc topics as required by the business.

We are willing to offer you all the training you need to excel, but would like to see that you have:

- Minimum 5+ years work experience in a fast pace large warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of SAP (WMS) and intermediate excel skills.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective team management and interpersonal skills - Ability to motivate staff and encourage a team environment.
- Confident and able to engage, motivate, train and lead people to achieve Individual and team goals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders - strong communication skills (written and oral English).
- A clear understanding or inventory management & the investigation process.
- Proven customer facing experience with the ability to deliver superior customer service.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Confident and able to engage, motivate, train and lead people to achieve Individual and team goals.
- Strong practical knowledge of warehouse best practices and lean principles, such as 6S, workflow and value steam analysis.

Desirable, but not essential:

- Forklift Licence (High Reach & Counterbalance)
