- Secure Electronic Registries Victoria (SERV) is a data insights and technology business responsible for_
- operating Victoria’s land titles and property information services under a 40-year government concession. SERV supports over a million property transactions annually and plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of land and property records across the state._

**_About the Role_**:

- As the Risk & Compliance Business Partner at SERV, you’ll play a key role in embedding and_
- overseeing the company’s enterprise-wide risk and compliance framework. Reporting to the Head of Risk_
- and Compliance, you’ll operate in a Line 2 capacity with some Line 1 elements. You’ll also help shape_
- compliance frameworks linked to regulatory obligations and the organisation’s operating agreement._

**What will your day-to-day look like?**:

- Support the ongoing review and enhancement of the enterprise risk management framework to align with evolving business objectives.
- Maintain and update enterprise risk and control registers in collaboration with business units.
- Facilitate risk workshops to review and challenge risk profiles and ensure stakeholder input.
- Lead control assurance activities, including independent testing of critical controls and tracking remediation.
- Coordinate internal audit activities and oversee audit action closure in partnership with the Head of Risk and Compliance.
- Oversee compliance deliverables tied to regulatory obligations, including the Operating Concession Deed.
- Support data governance activities with a strong risk and compliance lens.
- Collaborate with technology and cybersecurity teams to assess and improve associated risks, controls, and plans.
- Be a key business partner for departments and work hand-in-hand with stakeholders.

senior role, or someone with deeper experience ready to roll up their sleeves.

**We’d love to see**:

- At least 5 years’ experience in risk and compliance, internal audit, control assurance or related fields such as law or data governance.
- Hands-on experience enhancing risk frameworks, testing control effectiveness, using the Bowtie method, and delivering reporting that informs decision-making.
- Familiarity with recognised technology and information security standards, such as ISO 27001, IRAP, or NIST frameworks.
- Knowledge of the Commonwealth or Victorian privacy regulations, including Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and standards/guidance from regulators such as OAIC and OVIC.
- Experience in data governance and information/data classification frameworks.
