**Shoalhaven Heads is a picturesque coastal town with a strong, supportive community. Our town is located at the foot of Coolangatta Mountain which includes the Cullunghutti Aboriginal Area that is a culturally and spiritually significant place for our first people.**

**Our school current student enrolment is 187. This is showing an upward trend since 2019. Of our students, 18 students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. 12 students have a language background other than English. Shoalhaven Heads Public School is committed to strong collaboration through stage based team teaching classes.**

**Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary
- Willingness to contribute to a strong school culture of team-teaching and collaboration, leading high quality evidenced based learning practice which improves student outcomes.
- Experience in the management of school and department programs, policies, and frameworks with the ability to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate effective school systems and management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, collaborate and connect with the wider school community to build strong relationships and support student wellbeing.
- Outline any specific expertise or experiences you would bring to this position, which specifically aligns with the vision and strategic directions of Shoalhaven Heads Public School.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5.
