One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Wintel Technical Security Uplift Specialist** **to assist with Security remediation and uplift activities for external partners. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of technical Security recommendations for Windows Endpoints, servers and Active Directory. The roles will be based in **Canberra** with the successful **Wintel Technical Security Uplift Specialist **to be offered a **12-month contract + 2 X 12-month extension options.**

The successful** Wintel Technical Security Uplift Specialist **will be responsible for the below:

- Designing practical solutions from Security principals and guidelines
- Securing Windows environments and looking after Windows System administration
- Working directly with business partners to implement recommendations generated by Security Assessments
- Environment hardening through common tools including Group Policy, Intune and SCCM

The successful **Wintel Technical Security Uplift Specialist **will have experience in the following:

- Experience in Windows system and administration
- Experience in design, administration and hardening of Active Directory
- Demonstrated experience implementing security practices in complex environments
- Knowledge and experience implementing Essential Eight (desirable)
