Orthotist

GB Orthopaedics are seeking an experienced Orthotist - IMMEDIATE START - with a minimum 5 years clinical experience to join our busy practice.

We specialise in the management of Neuromuscular conditions, Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, and Foot, Ankle and Knee conditions attending clinics on the North and Southside of Brisbane along with two clinics in central Queensland.

We take pride in providing exceptional care to our patients and as such are seeking a likeminded Orthotist to join our team.

The role will require the following:

- Strong clinical and technical skills
- Have the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team and or independently
- Must be self motivated
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- An eye for detail
- Reliable and strong work ethic
- Strong clinical skills in orthotic assessment and prescription and subsequent casting
- Paediatric experience essentialResponsibilities:

- Manage own patient load
- Attend regional clinics on a 6 week rotation
- NDIS report writing
- Assess, prescribe, cast and fit appropriate Orthoses
- Manage clinical staff
- Teaching and mentoring graduates
- Hold a minimum Bachelors Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Membership with the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association
- Current Drivers Licence
- Working with children check ( Blue card - Queensland )

**Benefits**:
Pay: $128,000.00 - $144,000.00 per year
