**Description**:
The Role
Reporting to the NSW State Sales Manager, this position is responsible for driving the lead generation process as part of the pipeline. You will be educating architects on the Fairview product offering, confirming scope and colour requirements, getting our products specified and recording all relevant information. Gathering information on architects, builders, competitors, and the marketing, and reporting it back through the relevant systems for analysis and action, whilst looking after any identified architects, you will use a key account plan to establish, manage, and develop these relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lead generation process
- Upload BCI data on new build opportunities into Salesforce, ensuring the opportunities have the correct contact details.
- Work with Sales and Product Management to determine 'Sweet Spot' projects that appeal to FV. Conduct specialised searches to identify and determine with the support of the Product/Sales Managers the appropriate course of action and allocation.
- Monitor the progress of opportunities being scored in the marketing journey and allocate the opportunities to the appropriate Sales rep.
- Record all contact and opportunity data generated from Marketing Campaigns, events, inbound leads, and determine the best process or allocation for follow up.
- Opportunity Pipeline - call project stakeholders to gather information and qualify leads: deliver an agreed amount of high quality, qualified leads to the Sales team. Once a builder is appointed this role will become part of the sales process, staying engagaed through to the order being received. This role will be responsible for confirming product specifications, timing, scope, and colour requirements and recording the relevant information in Salesforce.
- Architect Contact - In conjunction with a Sales rep, establish contact with project architects, arrange meetings, develop (or maintain) the relationship and seek regular updates on project status and product design decisions.
- Internal Teamwork - work closely with the Project Sales teams for their territory. They will task activities such as contacting architects and builders to advise of project and product potential.
- Information - responsible for gathering information on projects, architects, builders, competitors, and the market and reporting it back through the relevant systems for analysis and action.
- Education - have good technical knowledge of our products and use this knowledge to both make recommendations and educate architects as part of the sales process.

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Results focused - following through to get the end result every time
- Enjoys overcoming objections/resistance and achieving goals in the face of obstacles
- Proven sales experience
Desirable
- Knowledge of or experience in the Fairview range of products
- Knowledge of or experience in the construction industry
- Track record of exceeding targets
- Experience with business software such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Smartsheet, Cordell and Microsoft Office Suite
