Reservations Agent

**Novotel Melbourne Preston **is located in the heart of Melbourne’s eclectic northern suburbs, 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport and close to the CBD.

Boasting a freshly refurbished lobby, rooms, restaurant and cafe, with the largest conference and events facilities within the Melbourne portfolio.

Novotel Melbourne Preston is growing and require a customer focused **Reservations Agent** who has amazing attention to detail to assist the reservations manager.

To be successful you will require:

- Similar role in a hotel/accommodation environment preferable
- Experience with Opera PMS (preferred not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- An enthusiastic approach
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high volume work situations

Tasks required include:

- Provide exceptional service and product knowledge of local area and hotel
- Convert reservations enquiries and maximise upsells
- Accurately and efficiently receive and process guest reservations according to hotel procedures
- Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure the best outcome for guest requests
- Handle all calls promptly and professionally.
- Drive a Heartist culture for our guests and team members
- Ensure Accor's ALL program is maintained and delivered to its highest standards
- Monitoring all arrivals and departures, communicating with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.8 per week

**Salary**: $23.52 - $35.28 per hour
