Udaya is a large Indian/Asian retail business with 4 retail stores around Sydney. Commitment to service is a key aspect of our business and we are seeking self-driven Storeroom and Carpark Assistants who can oversee a broad range of our day to day customer and storage related activities and commitments at our Liverpool store.

**Position purpose**:
Undertake storage related duties to assist in the operation of the Company’s retail function.

**Main tasks**:

- Direct customer vehicles in and out of store car park as well as assign car park space to customers
- Monitor all Car Parks operating equipment including computer dates, times, ticket levels and correct as necessary
- Enhance customer satisfaction through consistent, responsive and polite handling of enquiries, requests and complaints
- Ensure all entry and exit gates and roller shutter are in good working order and report as necessary
- Conduct carpark checks and ensure all equipment and council assets are in good working order and report as necessary as soon as practicable
- Provide customer assistance at the entry, exit gates and carparks as necessary
- Operate specialised equipment as required including forklift and pallet jack
- Assist in performing quality checks on equipment and inventory
- Receive and process stock/ products from loading/ receiving dock
- Unload, label and store delivered/received goods
- Perform general store room duties
- Check received goods against delivery dockets and invoices ensuring that all goods are accounted for
- Unwrap, wrap, arrange and sort goods on pallets
- Arrange goods on the shelves from pallets as required
- Provide products needed for each aisle as per store requirements
- Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and safety of the storeroom
- Observe work health and safety requirements at all times
- Perform adhoc duties as directed including assisting with other retail/ supermarket related functions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
