The Limerick Arms Hotel is seeking experienced Kitchen Hand to assist the management and help our kitchen team.

**Position Criteria**

This role requires ability to perform general duties and assisting other cooks and kitchen employees.

Key to the success to this role will be the skill to perform following duties:

- Working in a variety of sections of the kitchen
- Training and supervising junior kitchen staff members to ensure high standards of service
- Preparing for the service and assigning food preparations and other duties required for the shift
- Assessing inventory and requesting supplies when necessary
- Following opening and closing standard procedures
- Ensuring compliance with operating guidelines and venue standards
- Using safe work practices and supporting others to use them
- Representing the company with a high level of professional appearance

**Position Requirements**
- Relevant apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1year of experience in similar role in the hospitality industry
- Strong planning, time management and organizational skills and work ethic
- Excellent communication, supervising, customer service and people skills
- Ability to work full time on a flexible roster

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.19 - $42.26 per hour

**Experience**:

- Kitchen Hand : 1 year (preferred)
