**About the Role**:
As a Shannons Motor Assessor you will bring your experience as an existing motor assessor and leverage your industry expertise gained through your trade qualifications in either panel beating, spray painting or motor mechanics (cert III) to assess vehicle damage. With a passion for cars and keen eye for detail you will manage a diverse range of motor claims negotiating safe, cost effective repairs and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage the assessment and repair process, negotiating cost effective and safe repairs.
- Deliver exceptional customer experience by providing superior service and support.
- Cultivate relationships with industry partners and internal teams.
- Work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals and contribute to the team success.
- Enjoy and promote a high-performance culture within the organisation.
**What You Bring**:
- Minimum 2 year’s experience as a Motor Assessor.
- Trade qualification (Cert III) in panel beating, spray painting, or mechanics plus 5 years **post** trade work experience.
- Demonstrated experience preparing repair estimates and delivering customer service excellence.
- Must have experience in assessing vehicles or smash repair experience.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent time management.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and support colleagues.
- A proactive approach to enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Commitment to maintaining high performance standards.
- A genuine passion for motoring and the motoring community
- Current unrestricted driver’s license.
