**Salary**: $76,000 - $86,000 per year

Location: In-person - Perth, WA

Job Summary:
Arthur Murray Dance Studio Perth is seeking an experienced Dance Teacher to join our professional team. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality instruction in ballroom, Latin, American Smooth, American Rhythm, and social dance styles through private and group lessons. You will support students using a structured syllabus and assist them in preparing for medal exams, performances, and competitions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver dance lessons to students of all levels in both private and group settings.
- Teach a wide range of styles within a structured syllabus.
- Instruct students in dance theory, technique, posture, rhythm, and musicality.
- Monitor progress and provide tailored feedback and guidance.
- Choreograph routines for showcases, events, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate student records and lesson documentation.
- Participate in studio events, open days, and social activities.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support student retention and studio success.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants required to meet both of the following criteria:

- A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher, or at least five years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of three years as a professional dance teacher.
- Completion of Full Bronze-level or higher teacher certification in a recognised syllabus (such as Arthur Murray or equivalent).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in a franchised or structured dance studio environment is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Professional presentation.
- Ability to adapt teaching style to suit different learning needs.
- Team-oriented attitude and commitment to student growth.

Additional Requirements:

- A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability during evenings and some weekends.

Pay: $78,600.00 per year
