**About our role**:
**Are you ready to start your sales career with one of Australia’s largest food manufacturers?**

We have a great opportunity to join our Commercial division as a Merchandiser (known internally as a Sales Support Representative). Based in Melbourne, VIC and reporting to our Retail Field Manager, this is a permanent, part-time position. This is a varied role, where you will take responsibility for the distribution, shelf management, promotion, and presentation of our range of known and trusted household products.

Working weekdays, this part-time position will require you to work 30 hours per week with flexibility around start and finish times. You will be responsible for Grocery and Independent stores across a designated Territory, including Sunshine, Brunswick, Airport West and surrounding Areas.

**What you will do**:

- Build strong ongoing relationship with our customers
- Provide appropriate services to meet objectives of both Simplot Australia and our customers
- Build and maintain displays
- Ensure all Simplot products are presented with correct facings and in the best possible position
- Review and implementation of store planograms and layouts
- Ensure sales and field plans are executed in each store
- Achieve Territory Key Performance Indicators and field drive incentives

**About you**:
Previous Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) merchandising experience would be highly beneficial (but not essential), as is the desire and motivation to succeed in the FMCG industry. This is the perfect opportunity if you are studying and looking for a role to complement your timetable, that may also accelerate your career within sales and marketing.

You will be energetic, driven, and enthusiastic, with the ability to build lasting relationships. You will have exceptional planning skills and importantly enjoy working within a highly motivated Sales Team.

You will need a current driver's license and have a roadworthy vehicle.
