Ict Support Technician

**About the Role**

Chemist Connect Pharmacy at Prospect seeks expressions of interest for the position of ICT Support Technician to join a Permanent full-time position, 5 days per week.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the ICT Support Technician supports the work of the Pharmacy Manager by ultimately being accountable for ensuring the effective day to day management and operations of the ICT Department.

The ICT Support Technician is primarily responsible for implementing, overseeing and managing the pharmacy’s IT infrastructure, ensuring server, networking and Audio-Visual (AV) services are readily available, secure, and robust. The ICT Support Technician will also work alongside the pharmacy manager to help implement managing a range of ICT operational administration, technical support and service improvement activities to the ICT systems supporting the pharmacy.

**About You**

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

- Proven experience in a similar position with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Relevant ICT tertiary qualifications as desirable
- The ability to work independently and contribute to the efficiency and organisation of a highly interactive and complex environment;
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with management, colleagues and external stakeholders;
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a professional, flexible and adaptable approach to a varied and competing workload;
- Proven ability to exercise initiative, work autonomously, be organised, flexible and prioritise workload individually and as a member of a team;
- The ability to work with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, appropriate time management and a superior attention to detail;
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A commitment to the child safeguarding principles.

Exposure to the following technologies would also be beneficial:

- VMWare (including vCentre and vSphere)
- Ruckus switches and Access Points
- Veeam backup management
- Microsoft servers
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Intune and SCCM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is responsible for, but not limited to
- Provide software and hardware end user support to pharmacy staff and aged care staff
- Undertake routine maintenance of pharmacy packing and checking equipment.
- Maintain documentation and checklists as directed.
- Provide support and assistance with the pharmacy staff, packing and checking Software
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors to arrange warranty repairs of hardware.
- Log calls for ICT Support requests from pharmacy and aged care staff.

Pay: $76,200.00 per year
