Supervising Textile Technician

**Key Responsibilities**

1 - Effectively supervise, coordinate and conduct activities relating to the engineering and mechanical areas of the business.
- Oversee installation, performance, maintenance and repair of machine/equipment
- Reassemble and adjust new machines as per manufacturer's specifications
- Schedule and prioritize works to ensure major machinery downtime is kept to a minimum

2 - Effectively provide expertise in the areas of Research and Development
- Research current trends in the marketplace including new machinery, yarn developments and products developed from yarn.
- Analyze fabrics for machine gauge, type and yarns required.

3 - Effectively maintain the GMP standards of the business

4 - Effectively maintain the safety standards of the business
- Ensure machines and all work procedures are carried out in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain the workshop in a clean and safe manner

**Essential Criteria**
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing manufacturing
- Knowledge of business and management principles

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
