We are seeking a knowledgeable and forward-thinking librarian with expertise in metadata standards and resource description to enhance access to library resources and enrich the user experience.

**About the Role**:
The Scholarly Resources Librarian (Metadata & Access) plays a key role in enhancing the accessibility and discoverability of the library’s scholarly resources through metadata management and resource optimisation.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring accurate workflows and quality assurance processes for the exchange of bibliographic records and metadata across knowledgebases, discovery layers, and the library management system.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality metadata for digital, physical, and special collections, ensuring adherence to metadata standards and best practices.
- Identifying and enhancing legacy metadata to improve user access to library and information resources

This is a full time ongoing position at the HEP 6 classification level, salary range $88,691 - $96,001 per annum working 36.75 hours per week.
