**About The Position**

As the Head Butcher Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our meat production operations, including butchery, processing, and packaging. You will lead a team of skilled professionals, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise a team of butchers and production staff
- Ensure that all meat products are produced to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and safety
- Develop and implement production schedules and ensure that production goals are met
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that sufficient stock is available to meet customer demand
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new products and processes
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers

**Requirements to be successful in the role**:

- 5+ years of experience in meat production/Butchery, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Portion Cutting skill
- Extensive knowledge of butchery and meat processing techniques
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and experience with inventory management software
- A sound Knowledge of processes amd machinery

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster

- Salamander Bay, NSW 2317: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Butchery Management: 3 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
