**Warehouse Audio Assistants**

**SYDNEY**

JPJ Audio, one of Australia's leading professional live audio production companies, is seeking staff to join ourWarehouse team based in Homebush, NSW.

Starting at JPJ as a Warehouse Audio Assistant provides individuals with the opportunity to work full time in the audio industry, while receiving both on-the-job experience in live audio as well as in-house training from seasoned audio professionals.

This role is a great opportunity for anyone with a passion for live sound technology and has the potential to progress to various roles within the company, such as touring, warehouse operations, and logistics.

**What’s On Offer?**

In the first year with JPJ, successful applicants will assist with factory-based loading/unloading audio equipment and assisting Audio Crew with the set up and pack down equipment onsite at various live productions. Other duties include prepping/building touring systems and delivery/pickup of equipment to various sites around Sydney.

On-the-job training will include inventoryprocesses, principles of equipment usage, and warehouse logistics. Formal in-house training covers the fundamentals of Power and Rigging, and relevant safe work practices.

By the end of the first year, employees in this role will have gained a thorough understanding of the nature of the live entertainment industry and JPJ’s particular internal practices.

**Skills & Experience**
- Knowledge of/or experience in; professional audio equipment and/or the production of sound for live events, either in theatre, concert touring, and/or international events.
- Currently undertaking a course or recently completed a course in Audio Production, or related discipline.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment and with minimum supervision.
- Must have Class C (car) driver’s license.
- Forklift License and Qualification in WHS(white card) is desirable but not mandatory.
