Dental Assistant/receptionist

We are offering a position for a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our close-knit team. The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and phone manner
- Professional, motivated and self-driven
- Good organisational skills
- Punctual and responsible
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work coherently within our team
- Proactive both within the surgery and the practice as a whole
- Ability to put people at ease

Key responsibilities:

- Welcome and greet patients
- Preparation of dental treatments
- Chair-side dental assisting
- Cross-infection control, sterilising of dental instruments
- Answering phone calls and arranging appointments
- Arranging bookings for existing patients and follow up appointments
- Processing of payments and accurate data entry
- General maintenance of surgery
- Following the dentist’s instructions for patient management
- General administrative tasks

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $57,783.00 - $70,624.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
