**Job description**

**DENTAL NURSE/ Medical RECEPTIONIST F/T or P/T**

needed to join dedicated team in Newport **area.**

**2-5 days** a week.

School leavers, people with a passion for health care and well as experienced welcome.

**Traineeship available including comprehensive program with DAA cert.3 and 4 including radiology.** Practical training programs.

Working with hands, learn efficient techniques like 4 handed dentistry, familiarize yourself with aseptic techniques

Assisting with bookings learning medical and dental programs for reception

PowerPoint creations developing understanding of treatment plans.

2D and 3D radiology software programs

Scanning peoples mouths to make digital models

Assisting putting on braces, sculpting teeth and pouring models

Photography inside and outside mouth, working with lasers.

Surgical assisting

Child and patient education, Cosmetic dentistry

High exposure site in the middle of shopping centre. A walk across the road to the beach, surf, park.

Pay rates advertised are for 21 year olds and older. Other age groups are welcome but pay may differ.

**Job Types**: Apprenticeship, Casual, Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-32 per week

**Salary**: $23.10 - $40.00 per hour

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (required)

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

- Day Shift (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
