As an **Airport Improvement Specialist,** your primary responsibility will be to offer expert guidance on airport systems and processes, to support and maintain the operation, whilst ensuring compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will drive improvement projects focused on ground operations (including Ramp, Customer Service, and training) programs across QantasLink's Air Operators Certificates (AOCs). These initiatives aim to achieve strategic objectives by implementing changes and efficiencies across all QantasLink airports and managing relationships with multiple suppliers.

Additionally, you will conduct risk assessments and PIRs with operational teams to facilitate the successful delivery of initiatives and change programs and be a central point to organise QantasLink Airport's change and risk registers. Your role also encompasses supporting new port start-ups, working with operational teams to ensuring smooth commencement of Ground Service Providers (GSPs), and ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

**You’ll have -**
- Prior Airport experience with a high-level knowledge of both Operations and Airport Systems
- Analytical and solution focused approach to problem solving, with a drive to work to tight and everchanging deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsets (both Verbal and Written) with the ability to influence individuals at all levels
- Commitment to a continuous improvement philosophy
- Keen eye for safety and compliance, you will be a support for WHS in the workplace and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A Bachelor in Aviation Management (desirable but not essential)
