To continue our success, our
**Quaker Oats** team in
**Forrestfield - WA** has a fantastic opportunity for a
**Qualified Maintenance Fitter** to join our maintenance team reporting to the Frontline Service Manager, you will work as part of a team to achieve targeted levels of plant availability through planned, preventive, corrective, and where necessary reactive maintenance. Hours for this role are
**6am - 2pm**
**Monday** to
**Friday** however may require flexibility to adapt to extra hours (overtime) where required.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Perform trouble shooting, planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
- Perform minor installations and commissioning work as required.
- Perform work in a professional, timely and safe manner within PepsiCo Safety and Environmental management systems
- Update and extract data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System (Limble).
- Assist to identify, document, and implement improvements to maintenance work methods/ procedures and to plant and equipment to improve machine availability, quality, and safety.
- Work with and assist outside contractors as required.
- Have good communication skills

**Qualifications/Requirements**:
**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:

- Mechanical Fitter Qualification with a Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Experience in trouble shooting and fault finding
- Ability to work autonomously and safely under pressure
- Ability to solve problems using a systematic approach
- A flexible attitude, willingness to work overtime, attend training and work on other shifts as required.
- Prepared to attend callout after hours.
- Food industry experience would be an advantage
- Steam System, confined space, EWP and TIG experience would be an advantage
