**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**
We believe in providing outstanding service to our customers through outstanding people and right now, we are looking for an experienced **Expediting Specialist **to join our Queensland team based in** Carole Park QLD.**
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Expediting Lead and ensure measures are in place to maintain DIFOT to an acceptable level and reduce overdue orders for our top customers.
You will use your specialist investigative skills to ensure all items meet the customer’s requirements, and for those items that do not meeting the customer requirements that a root cause analysis is completed to ensure future continuous improvement.
Working as an integral part of our highly effective and friendly team you will be responsible for:
- Handle Open Order & Back Order enquiries for our customers by providing clear and informed updates until resolution
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting the needs of our customers to ensure their full satisfaction by providing timely and quality service
- Develop productive working relationships with key internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure rapport and trust is built to deliver quality service
- Identify, evaluate and recommend alternative service solutions where required via development of a strong knowledge of Customers’ needs
- Seek opportunities to improve processes or create efficiencies within your work area and team
- Plan for upcoming problems or opportunities relevant to customers and recommend and drive appropriate action via strong relationships with the Account Managers and Customers
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience within Customer Service, Industrial Supply or Trade understanding (advantage)
- Telephony and Windows PC knowledge
- Secondary qualification
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Excel Skills
- Building customer relationship and results driven
