**About the Role**

As a Telecommunications Technician, you will work independently or in a team with limited supervision.

You will be performing technical work such as fault diagnosis, co-ordination of activities, installation, testing, commissioning, investigation and maintenance of Telecommunication and related systems in high voltage substations, data centres and radio sites.

Working throughout South-East Queensland in a two-person crew, you will require a current ‘C’ class open drivers’ licence with the ability to travel to undertake work and participate in an on-call roster.

The remuneration for your new role is from $98K plus 12.75% superannuation for a 9-day fortnight.

**About You**

You are a stable team player with confidence to develop good working relationships in an integrated team. Your previous working experience in the Telecommunication field is important to your success in this role as well as your:

- Relevant trade Certificate in Telecommunications, other relevant trade, equivalent demonstrated knowledge and skills, or capability to achieve the same.
- Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or equivalent area of practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the safety requirements associated with Telecommunications equipment and related systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Communications equipment.
