We have a number of positions available for an enthusiastic people looking to start or continue their carpentry apprenticeship in the Canberra area. Australian School Based Apprentices (ASBA) welcome to apply.
If the idea of working with your hands, building structures, and working on construction sites appeals to you, a carpentry apprenticeship ticks all the right boxes. You will get the opportunity to work alongside professional tradespeople and you will learn all aspects of the carpentry industry. You will also receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.
- Have a great attitude towards work, self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn
- Be punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Be committed to finishing their apprenticeship and become a fully qualified carpenter

- Have an attention to detail
- Must have a driver’s license or reliable transport
