As the State Government’s property development agency, Renewal SA’s job is to deliver impact for South Australia. Renewal SA is growing and will be advertising a number of new roles over the coming months. The People and Culture team is key to finding the right people to join the organisation and welcoming them into the team.

In this role, you will be a key member of the People and Culture leadership group and responsible for managing the delivery of contemporary human resources processes, practices and systems. Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, you will build and lead a small team of specialists to deliver valued services to leaders and the broader Renewal SA business including strategic and operational recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, reporting and transitional services. The identification, implementation and management of appropriate technology to deliver these services will be a component of this role.

Working across the agency with Executives, Project Directors and Managers and externally with providers, vendors and other agencies, key areas of responsibility include:

- leading and managing the People and Culture Operations team and supporting continuous improvement and achievement of performance targets;
- delivering high level data insights and recommendations on people-related issues and opportunities for Renewal SA;
- developing tools and processes to support succession planning to ensure retention of the skill and knowledge required for the achievement of business objectives;
- promoting a culture of risk awareness and responsiveness in relation to workforce risks.
