**Your new company**

Our client is an established local organisation who are seeking Civil Labourers to carry out a hands-on role in delivering and maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day operation of civil maintenance and construction activities.

**Your new role**

Your new role will likely include, but is not limited to:

- Concreting
- Kerb and channelling
- Stormwater drainage
- Roads
- Roadside assets
- Bridges
- Foreshores and reserves
- Removal and disposal of debris
- Operate and maintain machinery & equipment as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) - White Card.
- Current “C” class driver’s Licence.
- Physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member of a high-performing team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills necessary to follow direction and work programs to complete tasks within a set timeframe.

**Desirable requirements**
- Certificate III in Civil Construction
- Additional plant Licences will be highly regarded
- Use mechanical and handheld equipment
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence and demonstrated experience and ability to operate and undertake general maintenance of trucks, relevant civil construction and machinery.
- Experience and knowledge of delivering and maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day operation of plant for civil maintenance and construction tasks
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills along with the ability to provide on-the-job coaching.
