**Key Duties and responsibilities**
- Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including assembly of optical, mechanical and electronics systems.
- Working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub
- assemblies and final assemblies.
- Use of programs to collect and evaluate results.
- Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
- Assist in the maintenance of SDO’s quality management system.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A Diploma in Engineering or in Photonics. Relevant working experience is desirable.
- Follow, comply and ensure good housekeeping and safety in factory.
- Is open to work in shift hours on normal workday.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable, innovative, committed, a self-starter, and quality focused.
- Strong sense of urgency, punctuality, and drive to succeed.

Work Eligibility:

- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (preferred)

Pay: $30.77 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
