AV is seeking an experienced planning and policy lead to provide pre-project planning, scoping and policy expertise for our Operational Strategy & Integration Department. This is a part time (0.8FTE), permanent position currently based in Blackburn North (with hybrid work arrangements).
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Policy & Planning, the responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and lead analytical processes to gather information from multiple sources to identify and evaluate opportunities that inform target plans.
- Define and plan innovative concepts for patient centred strategies that create value.
- Develop improved practices to explore and exchange information with stakeholders to clarify benefits and opportunities.
- Lead change through actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide high level advice and technical expertise in a range of planning activities and process for the achievement of defined goals.
About you
**To be considered for this position you will possess**:
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business Management or related discipline.
- Proven conceptual and analytical skills and an ability to interpret and distil information and ideas to formulate clearly defined action plans.
- Possess an understanding of government budget and planning cycles.

Successful applicants will need to have received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including a Police Check.
This position is graded at AV5. The AV grade salary range for an AV5 position is $124,681 to $147,392 (Pro-Rata) plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade applicable to a position.
Due to the going into the festive season, we will be commencing interviews later in January.
