Our client specialises in the Design, Sale, Install and Service of market leading Food Processing Equipment across the world, and we are hunting for a Fitter qualified Field Service Technician for Sydney-based customers.

**The Role**

The Service Department ensures that customers are fully supported during installation, commissioning, servicing, and ongoing maintenance of machinery, as well as providing training of operators, production and maintenance staff.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support clients mainly within the Sydney metro area, performing the following tasks;
- Planned services on customer sites
- Ensure machine service kits are up to date and correct within the system
- Produce high quality service reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Investigate and proactively work to correct problems where machines are not performing at required levels
- Perform machine services and rebuilds in the workshop as required
- Attend machine-specific training courses

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**

Essential;
- Trade qualification - Fitter and Turner
- Food or Beverage industry packaging or processing equipment
- A person who is keen and has no problem in working in raw meat environment
- Ability to interpret Electrical and Pneumatic drawings with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to liaise and build relationships the with major blue-chip customers

Desirable;
- Meat Industry experience
- Knowledge in electronics, motors and servo drives
- Experience in upstream and downstream meat production processes

- Base of up to $50 per hour
- Fully maintained modern 5-seater Ute
- Overtime 150-300% rate
- Mon-Fri (one weekend or 2 weekend days per month max required, unless you wish to do more overtime)
