**Description**:
As the ‘face of the company’ to clients and passengers, this role forms part of the Ground Handling Team responsible for the delivery of Ground Handling Services, whilst maintaining the safety and security of the ramp at all times. Working as part of our Ramp team, you'll be an important part of each passenger's customer experience.
**Key accountabilities**:
- Perform Ramp functions including marshalling aircraft on the ramp (e.g. directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft)
- Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengers
- Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company material; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of baggage, freight and company material.
- Ensure compliance with all Uniform & PPE requirements Management of GSE
- Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment.
- Test all relevant equipment for serviceability before commencement of every shift.
**Skills and Experiences**:
- A valid driver’s licence
- Awareness of the importance in achieving on time performance goals in an efficient and safe manner
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong ability to multi-task, priorities and meet deadlines
- Customer focus to deliver exceptional service
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
- Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Highly personable and able to communicate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
