Territory Manager (LSR & Industry)
This very interesting position is located in Queensland, Australia and reports to Sales Manager, ANZ. To be responsible for ensuring sales activities and targets are achieved by working with an existing customer base and developing the business by identifying new opportunities in the Industry market segment also to achieve or exceed the commercial targets (revenue, profitability, inventory, customer satisfaction) for the LSR, ID & LNT divisions of the ANZ LMS Selling Unit.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive business development, in order to optimize market share, market awareness and customer satisfaction.
Develop the sales channels, maximising market reach. Consistent with overall sales and marketing strategy.
Development of strategic relationships
Leveraging relationships to drive sales
Identify and attend relevant Industry conferences
Drive sales to achieve the sales and profitability targets for the ANZ Industry division
To lead and manage the performance of the Industry sales team (inclusive of direct staff, agents, and dealers) within the ANZ SU and to meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives.
To coordinate marketing initiatives within the ANZ SU to enhance brand image and product positioning within the region.
To provide accurate order forecasts to assist in weekly/ monthly management forecasts and setting of annual budgets.
To understand and enhance LMS product and market position in the ANZ market relative to competitors.
To represent and champion the ANZ SU within the global LMS organisation to maximise available resources and ensure comprehensive understanding of local key issues.
To achieve the sales and profitability targets for the ANZ SU for LSR, ID & LNT divisions
To maximise demonstration stock utilisation and control inventory levels.
To ensure that the Customer Relations Management database is up to date and accurate for use by all stakeholders within the Leica organisation. This includes accurate pipeline information, and customer profile information.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
Professional Experience
Extensive sales experience in the life science fields and/or industry
Experience in microscopy (sales or research - based)
Education
Science Degree or equivalent
Language
Fluent English - written and oral
Travel (required estimated 25 % of time)
Travel within Queensland - Driver’s license and own car
