Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced **Pathology Collector** to join our Collections Team in the Emergency Department.
**To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include**:
Excellent customer service skills, respectful towards others and be able to work well autonomously as well as in a team environment. Be flexible, proactive and passionate as well as empathetic towards everyone, be able to work independently in a fast-paced role.
Must have a Certificate III in Pathology Collections, and minimum 2 years experience as a pathology collector would be advantageous in this position. Technical skills in doing venepuncture and undertaking ECGs will be indispensible to this role, as well as being able to do the Covid LIAT testing.
