This CBD based Audit firm needs an Audit Technical Specialist at Experienced Senior level to support its thriving audit and assurance team on a 2 month contract basis - there may be extensions or a permanent role available. This is an opportunity for a high-quality audit professional to take on an interesting but DIFFERENT role using superior audit technical skills (not accounting standards but audit standards) - immediate start, for 2 months initially.
You will support audits of medium to large, and very interesting, entities while enjoying the support and mentoring of an impressive leadership team. This is a role that will improve your career prospects whether you take on a permanent role within the practice or go elsewhere at the contract's conclusion as this experience is highly valued within the market.
The role will support external audit teams with audit methodology advice, quality control reviews and some training and will play an integral part in the operations of this high performance assurance division.
- Have recent audit experience in a local audit team or Big 4 / Second Tier overseas.
- Ideally have completed either the CA or CPA programs or similar overseas.
- Have exposure to the delivery of audit technical advice - if not, you must pride yourself on the depth of your audit technical knowledge (again this is audit standards not accounting standards).
- Have good communication (including written).
- Will be professionally presented.
Again, this is a great, supportive environment with reasonable hours and the role can be done 100% remote from anywhere in Australia.
