Green Adelaide is on a mission to cool, green, and wild our city—and we’re looking for a **visionary Urban Greening Lead** to drive that transformation.

**A Role for a Greener Tomorrow**: As our Urban Greening Lead, you'll be the connector, coordinator, and catalyst for a greener and bio-diverse Adelaide. You'll collaborate with local councils, contractors, innovators, and change makers to roll out projects that expand and enrich our urban forest.

**What You'll Do**
- **Strategise & lead** key urban greening projects across metropolitan Adelaide
- **Inspire & influence** internal and external partners to champion urban greenery
- **Deliver results** that increase canopy cover, reduce urban heat, improve biodiversity and enhance liveability
- **Collaborate** with councils, community groups, contractors and experts
- **Ensure excellence** in planning, project delivery and stakeholder engagement

**Contract**:
Contract till 30 June 2026

**Essential Qualifications**:
A Degree in the field of public policy, development planning, biological sciences or environmental management (or equivalent).
A Tertiary or Post Graduate qualification in public policy, development planning, biological science or environmental management discipline would be advantageous.

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- Current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
- Some out-of-hours work may be required as part of the position.
- May require some intra/interstate travel.

**Remuneration**:
PO4, $110,696 min - $120,470 max p.a.
